Preparation process of Touhualiao chewable tablets was researched.Using gallic acid content and yield as indexes, water amount and auxiliary materials were observed to find the best preparation process.The best preparation process was 8 times amount of water, extracting 2 times, each for 1.5 h; pressure reduction and drying at 80°C; each formula contained 10 g steviosin.The preparation was stable and reliable, traits, tablet weight difference and microbial limit accorded with "Chinese Pharmacopoeia".

Determination of cefaclor capsules by HPLC

An HPLC method was established for the amount determination of cefaclor capsules.The anal. was performed on a Cosmosil ODS C₁₈ column (4.6 mm × 250 mm, 5 μm).The mobile phase was composed of potassium dihydrogen phosphate buffer solution (pH = 3.4), acetonitrile (90:10) with the flow rate of 1 mL/min.The detection wavelength was 254 nm.The standard curve was linear in the concentration range of 0.0564-0.282 g/L for cefaclor (r = 0.9998, n=5).The recovery rate was 99.26% (RSD = 0.81%, n = 9).The method was simple, accurate, and suitable for the amount determination of cefaclor capsules.

Determination of polydatin in Jindan tablets by HPLC

The objective of this study was to assay polydatin in Jindan tablets by HPLC in order to control its quality.Stationary phase was Shim-pack CLC-ODS column; mobile phase was acetonitrile-water (18:82); detecting wavelength was 303 nm; flow rate was 1.0 mL/min.The linear range of polydatin concentration was 36.04-360.40 μg and the correlation coefficient was 0.999 9.The average recovery rate was 99.93%, RSD was 0.97% (n = 6).This method is simple, quick and accurate.
