Tandem Diabetes Care to Present Early User Insights on Tandem Mobi at ADA's 84th Scientific Sessions

On June 22, from 10:15 am to 11:00 am EDT, the company will host a Product Theater titled "Meet Tandem Mobi: Tiny pump, big control. The future of Automated Insulin Delivery (AID)." This session will feature new insights from early users of the Tandem Mobi, which is currently the smallest, durable AID system available in the United States since February 2024. The presenters include Jordan Pinsker, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Tandem Diabetes Care; Halis Kaan Akturk, MD, Associate Professor at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, University of Colorado; and Cari Berget, MPH, RN, CDCES, Director of the PANTHER Program and Research Instructor at Barbara Davis Center.

During this presentation, the speakers will elaborate on the unique wearability features of the Tandem Mobi combined with the Control-IQ algorithm, which heralds a new era for AID systems. They will also discuss the advantages of a small-sized insulin delivery system that allows users to disconnect during sports, swimming, and other real-life activities. The session aims to highlight how optimizing algorithm settings can enhance patient outcomes.

Additionally, Tandem Diabetes Care will exhibit its products at Booth #1621 throughout the ADA event. The Tandem Mobi will be demonstrated alongside the newly launched Dexcom G7 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System integration. The t:slim X2, noted as the top-rated automated insulin delivery system, will also be showcased. This system is the first insulin pump compatible with three CGMs: Dexcom G6, Dexcom G7, and Abbott FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus.
