Herein, we describe a nickel-catalyzed reductive decarboxylative difluoromethylation reaction of alkenes using inexpensive and easy-to-handle difluoroacetic anhydride (DFAA)/pyridine N-oxide reagent system.A variety of C(sp³)-CF₂H containing compounds were prepared through a hydrodifluoromethylation process.Besides, various gem-difluoroalkenes bearing CF₂H group were synthesized via defluorinative reductive cross-coupling process from trifluoromethyl-substituted alkenes using this new reaction system.Difluoroacetic anhydride has been then extended to other common alkyl anhydrides, and the corresponding hydroalkylation and defluoroalkylation processes have been successfully achieved.This method features broad substrate scope, good functional group tolerance as well as high efficiency.

We present an approach for ortho C(sp²)-H acylation and intramol. amination reactions, employing 4-amino-benzotriazole (ABTA) as a bidentate directing group.This method is facilitated by a palladium catalyst in combination with iodobenzene diacetate.Our approach efficiently yields acetoxylation and intramol. amination products from a variety of acylamide substrates, including arylcarboxamides and arylacetamides.

An efficient method for thioesterification of carboxylic acid with sulfenylchloride

A mild and convenient method for synthesizing thioesters has been developed, from sulfenylchlorides and carboxylic acids via a phosphine mediated umpolung process.This approach efficiently produces a broad spectrum of thioesters from readily available carboxylic acids, including primary, secondary and tertiary types, as well as bioactive mols.The successful gram-scale reactions also validate its scalability and practical application.
