TALi obtains Australia's nod for cognitive attention trainer device
TALi Digital, an ASX-listed developer of diagnostic and therapeutic tools for improving children's attention, has received the Therapeutic Goods Administration's approval for its latest product, ReadyAttentionGo!
Available on digital tablets, the software-as-a-medical device serves as a cognitive trainer that helps develop attention skills in children aged 3-10 through digital games. It is an adjunctive tool intended to be used under the direction of a health professional.
EpiSoft integrates cancer management platform with My Health Record
Episoft is now allowing the users of its medical oncology and administration platform to upload treatment cycle summaries directly to My Health Record.
According to a media release, the health IT developer has worked with the Australian Digital Health Agency to integrate its platform with the MHR.
The integration now allows cancer care providers to upload treatment event summaries, as well as specialist letters, to MHR via the EpiSoft platform. They can now also access their patient's MHR information via EpiSoft's existing document viewer.
Unichem, Life Pharmacy launch unified app
Green Cross Health's pharmacy brands Unichem and Life Pharmacy have introduced a unified mobile app for ordering medicines.
Available on both iOS and Android devices, the Unichem and Life Pharmacy app connects consumers with their local pharmacy, which in turn can access their personal medication records in real time.
Other features of the app include reminders for taking medicines, pre-ordering, and booking pharmacy services. It also has a carer mode which allows a patient's family members to manage their medications on their behalf.
The app, according to Green Cross Health, replaces the old text alert system that both Unichem and Life Pharmacy offered their customers to remind them of their next prescription medicine collection. "Our new app is like having a pharmacy in your pocket," said Alison Van Wyk, Unichem and Life Pharmacy Group COO.
