Tetra Pharm opens new headquarters to boost cannabinoid drug research and manufacturing

16 Aug 2023
Danish biotech Tetra Pharm Technologies has completed the construction of a new facility in Scandinavia so it can push through with its long-term growth plans.
The 43,000-square-foot plant is in Medicon Valley, situated in the Greater Copenhagen region and Southern Sweden. The building itself was previously a manufacturing facility for medical device firm Ambu.
Copenhagen-based Tetra Pharm is looking to boost its R&D, specifically on cannabinoid-based drugs for neuropathic pain, sclerosis and mental health disorders. The site will also help it increase its manufacturing and production capacity, Tetra Pharm said in a press release.
