MicroCare hires Lu Anne Green as chief operating officer

Executive Change
MicroCare has hired Lu Anne Green as chief operating officer, the New Britain, Connecticut-based medtech supplier said. Green will oversee all manufacturing operations across MicroCare’s Connecticut-based operating locations and work with the executive team to develop and optimize organizational capabilities in alignment with strategic objectives, the company said. “Her experience in various industries and her track record of implementing LEAN, Six Sigma principles, and quality control measures will be instrumental in further elevating our manufacturing and operational capabilities,” MicroCare CEO Tom Tattersall said in a news release. “We are confident that Lu Anne’s expertise will help us deliver even better solutions to our customers and continue our commitment to excellence.” Green most recently served as COO of ELG Utica Alloys and was SVP of global operations at Smiths Medical before its acquisition by ICU Medical. In between, she was an equity partner at a private wholesale food distributor that wasn’t named by MicroCare or Green on her LinkedIn profile.
