Pramana's integration into the Proscia Ready partner alliance marked by partnership

This partnership marks Pramana's integration into the Proscia Ready partner alliance, aimed at empowering life sciences organizations and diagnostic laboratories with enriched, high-quality data, including DICOM images, for enhanced research and clinical operations.
The Proscia Ready initiative, established to expedite the widespread adoption of digital pathology, offers laboratories the flexibility to choose from a range of established hardware and software solutions.
At its core, Proscia says its Concentriq enterprise pathology platform is designed to seamlessly integrate with partners' technologies, thereby diversifying and optimizing workflows. Through this collaboration, Proscia and Pramana will synergize efforts to integrate Pramana's SpectralHT family of scanners with Concentriq, enabling laboratories to take Pramana's innovative approach to whole slide imaging daily.
Arun Ananth, chief commercial officer at Proscia, emphasized the transformative potential of Pramana's contributions. He said: “Pramana is expanding the potential of pathology data... empowering pathologists and scientists with richer images... enabling them to capitalize on the standardization that DICOM provides.”
Ananth expressed enthusiasm for welcoming Pramana to the Proscia Ready ecosystem, foreseeing increased benefits for customers leveraging these technologies.
Storing critical metadata
The company says its SpectralHT family of scanners distinguishes itself with automatic quality assessment and image enrichment capabilities, all within the standardized DICOM format. Moreover, Pramana says its in-line quality assurance module ensures the delivery of whole slide images with an ‘exceptional rate of first-pass success’ while simultaneously storing critical metadata, facilitating continuous improvement in lab practices for sample preparation.

“Joining Proscia Ready was an easy decision for us. The partners understand all that laboratories need to maximize the value of this data, paving the way to accelerate research and diagnosis.”
The Proscia Ready alliance, the company says, signifies a collective effort among solution providers to bolster digital pathology adoption. Recognizing the complexities inherent in navigating multiple vendors, the partners offer a holistic approach that prioritizes interoperability and joint support agreements. This commitment extends to a shared vision for future innovation, ensuring laboratories are equipped to navigate the evolving landscape of pathology with confidence.
