In partnership with Driven Care, patients will now be able to easily access treatment options, including antiviral prescription services and consultations, through its newly launched telemedicine services.
According to the CDC’s recent data release, COVID-19 cases are exponentially rising across the country, due largely to several highly transmissible Omicron subvariants that are currently circulating through the population — especially following the event-packed 4th of July holiday weekend. The process for accessing Covid Clinic’s additional services is simple. Patients who suspect they may have been exposed and/or are experiencing symptoms can visit their local Covid Clinic testing location (visit for full list of locations) and receive a test. If the patient tests positive for COVID-19, they can book a zero-cost-to-patient appointment through the website to connect virtually with a licensed provider in minutes. During that on-demand appointment, the physician will review the patient’s test results, confirm symptoms, and, if appropriate, develop a treatment plan that may include a prescription for antiviral medications — thereby completing a seamless, end-to-end patient experience that can help families and communities collectively manage and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
