HMG Paints Hosts Bank of England Representatives

Manchester-based HMG Paints recently had the privilege of welcoming representatives from the Bank of England to their Riverside Works headquarters in Manchester. The visit, held on July 12, 2023, provided an opportunity for an insightful discussion on various aspects of HMG Paints' operations, SME’s role in the economy, manufacturing and the broader economic landscape. The delegation from the Bank of England included Elisabeth Stheeman, an external member of the Bank of England’s Financial Policy Committee (FPC), and Ken Clark, deputy agent for the North West. Additionally, Danielle Haralambous, a policy advisor specializing in financial stability, joined the delegation. The delegation was hosted at HMG Paints by chairman John Falder, COO Steve Crossman, financial director Mike Jennings and Jonathan Falder, special projects director. “The visit provided a valuable opportunity for us to share our perspectives and experiences and gain insights into the broader economic landscape,” Jennings said. “We appreciate the Bank's interest in our operations and look forward to further collaboration in the future." During the visit, the Bank of England representatives explored a range of topics that held significant importance for both HMG Paints and the wider economy.
