Nowadays, language teachers face an important task – to increase the effectiveness of teaching Russian as a foreign language, especially in the context of the morphology of the Russian language, which often presents difficulties for students for whom Russian is not a native language, and for whom it is a native language. This article substantiates the need to develop a set of communicative exercises that contributes to the development of speech skills, the assimilation of morphological rules and forms and their application in practice; game and interactive methods are used, which contribute to the active involvement of students in the learning process; specific exercises, their structure, as well as methodological recommendations for their use in the classroom are described. As a result of the application of the proposed set of exercises, there is a significant increase in the motivation and interest of students in learning the Russian language, as well as an improvement in their morphological skills, which confirms their effectiveness. The paper emphasizes the importance of the communicative approach in teaching, as it contributes to a deeper understanding of the language and the improvement of the language competence of non-native speakers. The results of the study are applied and can be used by teachers of the Russian language in the classroom.
