Ch.P. method, using fluorescein as indicator and titrated by 0.1015 mol/L silver nitrate, were compared by the improved method by addition of 0.1 g calcium carbonate, and the dry weight measurement method.The results of the Ch.P. method were always higher than that added with calcium carbonate which was coordinated with the dry weight method; and it is because of the titration end point delayed due to the low pH of the solutionThe Ch.P. method is valid at pH 7-8, and addition of calcium carbonate improves the accuracy of the method.
