Triarylmethane derivatives are an important dye in production and daily life.It has advantages such as excellent luster, high coloring power, and low cost.It has antibacterial activity and potential therapeutic application value in the treatment of malignant tumors, immunity, and inflammation.Therefore, the efficient and green synthesis of these compounds is of great significance.This article reviews and prospects the synthesis of triarylmethane derivatives in recent years based on homogeneous/heterogeneous catalytic systems.
