Grape fruit and wine quality can be damaged by Botrytis sp., Penicillium expansum, Aspergillus carbonarius and Trichothecium roseum. An in vitro assessment of IC50 germinative and mycelium growth was carried out on these fungi for the main botryticides of the market. The botryticide activity of these fungicides is confirmed.Cyprodinil, fludioxonil and fluazinam showed high levels of activity against all the tested fungi.Practical solutions for vineyards are discussed. The assessed references present a tighter spectrum or even a specific botryticide activity.
