IMCD Group has appointed Johann Milchram as managing director of IMCD Canada, effective Feb. 1, 2024. He will assume his new role upon the January 2024 retirement of Michael Staley, the current managing director of IMCD Canada.
As IMCD Canada’s managing director, Milchram will drive the company’s organic growth ambitions, continue progressing its commercial and operational excellence, cultivate talent, plus develop opportunities for mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he will advance the digitalization of the business and expand positive and trust-based relations with business partners and customers to further strengthen IMCD Canada’s position and reputation.

Since 2012, Milchram has been the managing director of IMCD SEE, where he has led year-after-year growth in revenue and operating profit, plus secured two important acquisitions that strengthened the footprint of its industrial business groups. Prior to joining IMCD, Since 2012, Milchram has been the managing director of IMCD SEE held leadership positions at LOBA Feinchemie, ISOVOLTA and RHI Magnesita.
