Thermal and rheological properties of polyethylene waxes produced in the low-pressure slurry process

Three com. polyethylene waxes were studied for average mol. wt, d., softening, dropping and solidification points, penetration and flow rate indexes to evaluate their practical applicability.The multimodal wax showed the highest d., mol. mass and thermal stability as well as the lowest penetration and volume flow rate index.
