With the pandemic confining most of the global workforce to their homes, delivery and optimisation of formal learning and development modules delivery and optimisation have taken centre stage. Personalisation of learning & development module holds immense importance today when gig economy is on the rise, and workplace culture has turned hybrid. The introduction of Gamification – the delivery of learning modules and assessment of key performance indicators through complex computerised games – has streamlined this process. This research project aims to understand the impact gamification has had on the learning experience of both newly onboarded and existing employees. It also aims to study other fields of L&D where AI and machine learning modules have been implemented and gauge their impacts as well, to provide a basis for these systems to be developed and implemented globally, with cost-effectiveness in mind.
