The aim of this paper is to develop a quant. method for the determination of related substances in the Vit C effervescent tablet.PerfectChrom 100 C18(250 mm*4.6 mm, 5μm) was used as chromatog. column, phosphate buffer (pH 2.50±0.05) was used as mobile phase; the injection volume was 20μl and the detection wavelength was at 245 nm with a flow rate of 0.8ml/min.The standard working curve of VC and peak area had a good linear relation between the concentration from 4.0 to 16.0μg/mL-1 and the injection volume from 0.0618 to 0.5562μg (r=0.9990).This method is simple, precise and stable which can be used for the determination of related substances in the Vit C effervescent tablet.

Using the examination of mol. weight (MW) and mol. weight distribution (MW distribution) to replace the traditional method of viscosity.Referring to the measurement of the MW and MW distribution of polysaccharide from the appendix VH of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, this study conducts the quality standard method of MW and MW distribution to replace the viscosity method.Ten batches of mannose's statistical average mol. weight on the basis of weight distribution (MW) are between 11,289 to 12,566, the distribution width below 1.5.Using the examination of MW and MW distribution instead of viscosity is available.
