The application and development of Tujia medicines have a long history.Through more than ten years, we went to the areas where the Tujia people lived to visit folk doctors, which intended to explore and sort out the characteristic drugs to treat diseases.By summarizing and sorting out the rese arch data for many years, it is found that there are 14 kinds of flower medicines commonly used by Tujia folk doctors to treat common diseases.

HPLC determination of 5-hydroxyanthranilic acid in compound amino acid (8) vitamin (11) capsules

A HPLC method for the determination of 5-hydroxyanthranilic Acid in Compound Amino Acid (8) Vitamin (11) Capsules was established.The Agilent C₁₈ column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm) was used by gradient elution using acetonitrile 0.05 mol·L^-1 KH₂PO₄ solution (contain 0.04% sodium pentanesulfonate).The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min^-1.The detection wavelength was at 240 nm and the column temperature was at 25°C.The method showed a good linearity (r=0.9996) in the concentration range of 5.1009-51.1009 μg·mL^-1 for 5-hydroxyanthranilic acid.The mean recovery was 101.58%, RSD=0.92% (n=9).The method is simple, rapid and accurate, and can be used for the quality control of 5-hydroxyanthranilic acid in Compound Amino Acid (8) Vitamin (11) Capsules.
