Objective: To optimize the extraction of baicalin by orthogonal experimentMethods: Using boiling number, boiling time and water consumption as the reference factors and the output of baicalin as index, the extraction method was investigated by orthogonal method, and the content of baicalin was determined by HPLC.Results: The number of decoction and boiling time of water affected the extraction of baicalin, in which water was the first impact, the time was the second, boiling time was the last, the content of extracted baicalin reached more than 85% determined by HPLC.Conclusion: The method is simple, rapid, accurate, and can supply reference for Scutellaria baicalin extraction
