/ Unknown statusNot ApplicableIIT Usability and Satisfaction With an Electronic Survey Administration Application in General Population
The goal of the study is to assess the usability and satisfaction of an electronic patient reported outcomes (e-PRO) mobile application. The secondary aim is to assess and compare response rates between two study groups (e-PRO group vs REDCap survey group). A potential differentiating factor between delivering surveys via smart phone and other electronic modes of delivery is the perceived advantage of being able to conveniently complete survey questionnaires at any time and any location. This could help address certain limitations of the quantitative survey method such as recall bias. Furthermore, the portability, connectivity and ubiquity of smartphones may reduce the amount of training or instructions required for users to complete a survey questionnaire on a smartphone.
/ Unknown statusPhase 1/2IIT A Phase 1b/2 Randomised Placebo Controlled Trial of Fulvestrant +/- AZD5363 in Postmenopausal Women With Advanced Breast Cancer Previously Treated With a Third Generation Aromatase Inhibitor
This is a two stage study, with an initial dose escalation phase I study and subsequent double blind randomised phase II controlled trial. Eligible patients are post-menopausal women with metastatic ER+ breast cancer not suitable for surgical resection. Patients should be suitable for endocrine treatment, but have received no more than 3 previous lines of endocrine treatment and up to 1 line of chemotherapy for metastatic disease. They will also have had progressive disease during treatment with an aromatase inhibitor. Following the dose-escalation in stage 1, patients will be randomised to receive fulvestrant plus either placebo or 480mg (or maximum tolerated dose) of AZD5363 oral capsules or tablets taken once daily.
Patients will receive fulvestrant in combination with either placebo or AZD5363 until disease progression. Patients may continue to receive fulvestrant and AZD5363/placebo treatment even after the last trial visit.
A Randomised, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled, Multi-national, Phase IIIb Study to Assess the Sustained Clinical Effect and Safety of Sublingual Immunotherapy Administered as Birch Pollen Extract Solution at a Dose of 300 IR Once Daily to Patients Suffering From Birch Pollen-induced Rhinoconjunctivitis
The purpose of this 2-year study is to assess the sustained clinical efficacy and safety of 300 IR/day of a sublingual solution of birch pollen allergen extract starting 4 months prior to the birch pollen season and continuing over the birch pollen season compared with placebo for reduction of rhinoconjunctivitis-related symptoms and anti-allergy medication usage.
