The research aimed to solve the inadequate efficient anaerobic bacteria species problem in the field of wastewater treatment and create a favorable environment for promote the third generation of anaerobic reactors in China.Anaerobic granular sludge could be cultivated by using 1C anaerobic reactor with hydraulic conditions which were more conducive to formal granular sludge, anaerobic digested sludge and citric acid wastewater.By three-month training, the volumetric loading of 1C anaerobic reactor had reached more than 20 kg/(m³ ·d) which was the best of operating load of the 1C anaerobic reactor, and succeeded in cultivating anaerobic granular sludge with the 1700 m³ of 1C anaerobic reactor.Efficient anaerobic bacteria species could be successfully cultivated by a certain control technol.
