Synthesis gas and hydrogen are supplied to alcs. production after washing of CO₂ by Benfield's method in potassic washing plant.The above process leads to strong pitting corrosion of equipment and tubulation.The extensive investigation of the problem resulted in the changing of the corrosion inhibition method, e.g. by optimization the applied doses of inhibitor and elaborating the efficient method of remote control of corrosion hazard.Important reduction of the hazard and thus reduction of failure frequency in the whole plant were obtained.

The results of laboratory and industrial scale trials of saltpeter type nitrogen-sulfur fertilizers from different origin calcium sulfate hydrates as sulfur sources was presented.The tech. powd. gypsum and gypsum and anhydrite minerals were used.During trials, the optimal milling, drying and granulating parameters were determinedFrom industrial scale trials, the products containing 27.3% N and 2.5-5.5% S with very good mech. properties were obtained.
