What are soft drugs?

Soft drugs are pharmaceuticals that are easily metabolized and inactivated. After the drug has completed its therapeutic action, it is degraded and inactivated through predetermined metabolic pathways and at a controllable rate, quickly excreted from the body to avoid the accumulation of toxic effects. These types of drugs are referred to as soft drugs.
