Dyspepsia is a very common but non-specific complaint that may indicate a group of symptoms that can be attributed to the upper gastrointestinal system, such as epigastric discomfort, abdominal bloating or fullness, stomach upset and nausea or vomiting that may be associated with food.
This study aimed to improve treatment management of patients with complaints of dyspeptic pain and emergency services, and to compare treatment efficacy of oral sucralfate, alginate and hydrotalcite, which are widely used in our country. Literature According to our research, our study is the first study to compare different antacids in our study of emergency serviste dyspepsia.

Conversion of steam exploded hydrolyzate of oil palm trunk to furfural by using sulfuric acid, solid acid, and base catalysts in one pot

This study aimed catalytic conversion of steam exploded hydrolyzate from oil palm trunk to produce furfural by using sulfuric acid, amberlyst-15, and a blend of hydrotalcite and amberlyst-15.Effect of temperature, catalytic dosage, and cosolvents was also studied.The maximum xylose conversion: 100% and furfural yield: 66.43% were attained at 170°C for 2 h of the combinatorial effect of sulfuric acid and di-Me furamide.Amberlyst-15 gave highest xylose conversion: 77.05%; furfural yield: 35.74%, and selectivity: 46.89% at 130°C for 3 h.Whereas, coupled effect of hydrotalcite and amberlyst-15 exhibited highest xylose conversion: 88.12%; furfural yield: 40.88%, and selectivity: 46.39% at 110°C for 3 h.

Layered MgAlFe hydrotalcite-like compounds for effectively degrading Malachite Green via Fenton oxidation

The development of heterogeneous Fenton catalysts with good performance and stability is a challenge in the field of wastewater treatment.In this work, MgAlFe hydrotalcite-like compounds (MgAlFe-HTLcs) were prepared by solid phase reaction at room temperature and modified via a hydrothermal process.The exptl. results showed that MgAlFe-HTLcs had a good layered structure with the same proportion of iron and aluminum, 18 h of crystallization time and 110°C of crystallization temperature and the lamellar structure was more uniform by solid grinding.Furthermore, the addition of iron can activate H₂O₂ more effectively to generate active oxygen which is •OH.The degradation experiments demonstrated that nearly 99.0% degradation efficiency was achieved for 10 mg/L Malachite Green (MG) solution within 60 min at the conditions of 0.10 g·L^-1 MgAlFe-HTLcs, 0.10 mol·L^-1 H₂O₂ and a natural pH of 6.3.Total organic carbon (TOC) removal reached 72.2% in a 70 min reaction.BET and XRD were measured to further discuss the stability and durability.Finally, a possible mechanism for the degradation of MG was presumed.

Adsorptive performance of a synthesized Mg-Al Hydrotalcite compound for removal of malachite green: kinetic, isotherm, thermodynamic, and mechanism study

The use of new synthetised materials as adsorbents for wastewater disposal is gaining importance due to their outstanding advantages.A Hydrotalcite-like compound Mg-Al-CO3 (HT2) with a molar ratio of Mg/Al = 2 was synthesized by the constant pH co-precipitation procedure and then characterised by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform IR spectroscopy (FTIR), and volumetric anal. (BET).The adsorption capacity of the solid was estimated against a textile dye such as malachite green (MG).Approx. 98% MG (5.10-5M) was adsorbed onto 100 mg of Hydrotalcite in 60 min.The effect of MG concentration, the influences of pH, and contact time on adsorption, studied by a factor-by-factor approach, revealed that adsorption was influenced by all factors.A maximum adsorption of 98 ± 0.51% was achieved at 46 mg L-1 MG, 100 mg Hydrotalcite, 400 rpm in 60 min with a maximum adsorption capacity of 14 mg g-1.The nonlinear form of the kinetic and isothermal models was used to verify the exptl. data.According to the error of the calculated values of R2 (Coefficient of determination), χ2 (Chi-square) and standard deviation (δq (%)), it was found that the form of the second-order kinetic model and Langmuir isotherm model are the most suitable for the exptl. data of HT2.However, thermodn. studies and post adsorption characterization data show that the adsorption of MG dye on Hydrotalcite is a spontaneous and endothermic phys. process.
