Chronic hepatitis B remains a critical public health challenge in China. Current treatments are largely limited to viral suppression and rarely achieve a functional cure. The official kick-off of this national project marks the transition into a phase of collaborative R&D. Leveraging its robust pipeline and strong clinical translation capabilities, HepaThera will work in close partnership with leading institutions to advance the development and validation of novel functional cure regimens for CHB, thereby supporting the realization of the "Healthy China 2030" initiative.
