The aim is to establish a quality control method for Qingxuan soft capsule including qual. identification and quant. determination TLC was applied to identifying rhizoma chuanxiong, spica schizonepetae, and herba menthae haplocalycis. HPLC method was applied to determining imperatorin in Qingxuan soft capsule. The anal. column was Agilent C18(250 mm*4.6 mm, 5 μm), and the mobile phase was acetonitrile-water(42.5:57.5). The detection wavelength was at 300 nm. The column temperature was at 35°C, and the volume flow was 1.5 mL/min. The TLC spots were distinct and reproducible. The linear range of imperatorin was 1.09-54.55 μg/ mL. The average recovery rate was 97.0% with RSD 0.77%(n=6). The qual. and quant. methods established were feasible, accurate, and reproducible, which could be well used for the quality control of Qingxuan soft capsule.
