Primary objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of ABT/3BNC117 combination therapy in reducing HIV-1 viral load during the 1-week induction period. Secondary objectives: To evaluate the antiviral activity of ABT/3BNC117 combination therapy during the 24-week maintenance period. To evaluate the safety and tolerability of ABT/3BNC117 combination therapy during the 24-week maintenance period. To evaluate the changes in viral load and CD4+ cell count from baseline to the 1-week control period, 1-week induction period, and 24-week maintenance period.

Primary study objective: To compare the pharmacokinetics of a single dose of the test nicotine chewing gum (menthol flavor, strength: 4 mg; produced by Fertin Pharma A/S) and the reference nicotine chewing gum (Nicorette®, cool mint flavor, strength: 4 mg; produced by McNeil AB, Helsingborg, Sweden) in healthy smokers and to evaluate the bioequivalence of the two chewing gums in the fasting state. Secondary study objective: To investigate the safety of the test nicotine chewing gum (menthol flavor, strength: 4 mg; produced by Fertin Pharma A/S) and the reference nicotine chewing gum (Nicorette®, cool mint flavor, strength: 4 mg; produced by McNeil AB, Helsingborg, Sweden) in healthy smokers.
