Modification of Biological Parameters After Autologous Blood Transfusion of a Small Volume of Packed Red Blood Cells (200 ml) in Healthy Volunteers
The purpose of this study is to evaluate if differences between samples of subjects obtained before autologous blood transfusion or samples of non-transfused subjects and samples of subjects after autologous blood transfusion can be identified. Analyses performed will focus on the morphological and biochemical parameters of red blood cells and associated microparticles. The final goal would be to find markers of autologous blood transfusion, that could be used to identify such doping practice.
Phenotypic, Functional, Metabolic and Transcriptomic Profiling of Circulating Immune Cells to Uncover Response Signatures to Anti-PD1 Immunotherapy in Melanoma Patients
Despite being standard of care, there are still many medical requirements related to immune checkpoint blocker based therapies such as identify patients susceptible to respond with the less adverse events, evaluate the clinical benefit of adjuvant treatment /risk of relapse and design new strategies for non-responder patients.
Thus, this project aims at understanding the impact of anti-PD1 on the immune system through investigation of the phenotypic, functional, metabolic and transcriptomic profiles of circulating DC subsets and effectors in response to anti-PD1 therapy in melanoma patients.
The primary objective of the study is to identify the biomarkers of response to anti-PD1 according to the type of patient before the start of the treatment.
Obstetrical History and Anti-HLA Antibodies Level
Chronic histiocytic intervillositis (CHI) is associated with severe and recurrent obstetrical complications. A link between anti-HLA Antibodies (Ab) and CHI has recently been established. At the Etablissement Français du Sang (EFS), donors who have already given birth once and have high levels of anti-HLA are excluded from donating apheresis platelets and therapeutic plasma to prevent TRALI (Transfusion Related Acute Lung Injury). No studies have examined the obstetrical history of these donors. The question is: is there an association between anti-HLA levels and obstetrical complications?
