To investigate the pharmacological effect of Yifuzhixue Pill (YFZXP).

PPT, RT, PT, platelet counts and platelet adhesive rate were examined after administration of YFZXP. In other hand, the functions of isolated rabbit's uteri were also examined to determine whether they were responsible to the administration of YFZXP.

YFZXP could enhance the intrinsic blood coagulating function and stimulate the contraction of smooth muscles of uterus including increasing the rhythms and strength. The stimulation effect of YFZXP on smooth muscles of uterus exhibited no selections between the uteri treated with or without estradiol. It was speculated that the increased intrinsic blood coagulating and uterus' contraction induced by YFZXP were contributed to its anti-bleeding effect in uterus.

The separation of samples was performed on a column of Wax-10 capillary column (0.32 mm × 30 m × 0.25 μm).The column temperature was 110°, sample temperature was 250°, detector temperature was 250°; FID detector.The calibration curve was linear in the range of 0.0517-0.6683 mg/mL for menthol (r = 1.0000).The average recovery was 101.1% (RSD = 2.0%, n = 6).The method is simple and feasible and the established criteria is suitable for the detection of menthol.

The aim of this paper is to explore the optimal conditions of the vacuum-belt drying process of Rhizoma Chuanxiong extractInfluencing factors of the vacuum belt drying process of Rhizoma Chuanxiong extract were studied by using orthogonal test.The water content and ferulic acid content of dried product were used as the quality indicators.The optimal parameters of the vacuum-belt drying process were as follows: the heated region temperature being 95°, the feeding speed at 10 Hz/s, and the belt speed at 10 Hz/s.The vacuum-belt drying technique for drying the extract brings high drying rate and high quality product.This study can provide a reasonable basis for industrial production in line with the GMP requirements.
