Fe/ZnO photocatalyst was prepared by impregnation method with Fe (NO3)3·9 H2O and ZnO as raw materials.And the catalytic degradation performance of Fe/ZnO photocatalyst on methylene blue was investigated.The effects of catalyst dosage, initial concentration of methylene blue solution, reaction time, light source, and light power on the catalytic degradation of methylene blue were explored in details.Results showed that the degradation rate of methylene blue could reach 88% under the conditions of catalyst dosage of 0.2 g, 20 mL methylene blue solution of 10 mg/L, xenon lamp used as the light source with 1000 W for reacting 3 h.When using mercury lamp power as the light source with 400 W for reacting 40 min, the degradation rate of methylene blue was close to 100%.
