Mumbai: Aurobindo Pharma biosimilars arm CuraTeQ Biologics Trastuzumab —a cancer therapy—biosimilar version ‘ Dazublys ’ has received marketing approval in the UK. Sharing the update with the stock exchange, Aurobindo disclosed that its trastuzumab biosimilar version, developed by the company’s wholly owned step-down subsidiary, CuraTeQ Biologics has obtained marketing authorisation from UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).' Dazublys is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with HER2-positive breast cancer and gastric cancer . As per the company, the drug was earlier approved by the European Union from the European Commission (EC) in July this year. With this approval CuraTeQ’s UK portfolio includes four biosimilars including Bevqolva —a VEGF targeting therapy approved for colorectal cancer, small cell lung cancer and several other indications. The other two drugs include Zefylti— a therapy to stimulate white blood cells in bone marrow; and Dyrupeg— a supportive therapy to reduce white blood cell loss, fever etc. By Online Bureau ,

Mumbai: Aurobindo Pharma ’s wholly owned subsidiary Curateq Biologics has incorporated CuraTeQ Biologics B.V. in the Netherlands . In a stock exchange filing the company informed that, “Curateq Biologics Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary in the Netherlands by the name of CuraTeQ Biologics B.V." The object of incorporation of this wholly owned subsidiary is to expand the Biopharma Products business in Europe, it added. The incorporation will be executed through an initial subscription of 10,000 shares at a nominal value of €1.00 each amounting to a total value of €10,000 (around Rs 9.6 lakhs).
