The objective of this study is to establish a HPLC method for the determination of baicalin in Qingnao Jiangya tablets.The HPLC method was used.The sample was analyzed on an Kromasil C18 (4.6 mm × 250 mm, 5 μm) column, using methanol-0.4% phosphoric acid (50:50) as the mobile phase.The flow rate was 0.8 mL/min-1 and the detection wavelength was 278 nm.Baicalin had the good linearity in the range of 0.1765-2.118 μg (r = 0.9998).The average recovery was 99.38% (RSD = 0.85%).The method was accurate and reproducible, and could be used for the quality control of Qingnao Jiangya tablets.
