Phase 2a, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial Evaluating Efficacy, Safety, and Pharmacokinetics of Orally Administered SNC-102 in Subjects With Combat-Related Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Concomitantly Treated With Prazosin
This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of SNC-102 in adult subjects with cPTSD, added to pre-existing treatment that includes prazosin with or without other psychotropic drugs.
Subjects will be treated with SNC-102 tablets or matching placebo on a BID basis for 8 weeks. Subjects will be evaluated for the symptoms of combat-related posttraumatic stress disorder (cPTSD) as measured by the Clinician Administered PTSD Scale (CAPS-5), compared with the response to placebo.
A Phase 2a, Open-Label Trial Evaluating the Efficacy, Safety, and Pharmacokinetics of Orally Administered SNC-102 in Subjects With Tourette Syndrome
This is an open-label study of SNC-102 (acamprosate calcium sustained release tablet) in adult subjects with Tourette Syndrome. Subjects will be treated with oral doses of SNC-102 800 mg on a BID basis - before breakfast and at bedtime - for 4 weeks and the same subjects will be treated with SNC-102 1600mg in the morning and 800mg in the evening for an additional 4 weeks. Subjects will be assessed for changes in tic severity, safety, and pharmacokinetics. The study hypothesis is that treatment with SNC-102 will improve the tic severity in adult subjects with Tourette Syndrome.
A Phase 2, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial Evaluating the Efficacy, Safety, and Pharmacokinetic Behavior of Orally Administered SNC-102 in Subjects With Drug-Induced Tardive Dyskinesia
This Phase 2 study was designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of SNC-102 in subjects with drug-induced Tardive Dyskinesia (TD). To ensure an adequate evaluation of SNC-102, a randomized, double-blind, parallel-group, placebo-controlled trial was designed. Two dosing levels of SNC-102 are employed to evaluate the proposed dosing range. A target enrollment of 90 subjects with drug-induced TD will provide sufficient data to assess the efficacy and safety profiles of SNC-102 in the target population.
