What is EC in Life Sciences?

The full name is the Ethics Committee, an independent organization composed of medical professionals, legal experts, and non-medical personnel. Its responsibility is to verify whether clinical trial protocols and attachments are ethical, and to provide public assurance to ensure the safety, health, and rights of the test subjects are protected. The composition and all activities of the committee should not be interfered with or affected by the organization and implementers of the clinical trials.
